2015!

Friends! 2015 is already a month in. I have been behind on posting for some time now but Newtritionsavvy is back. This last year has been filled with many travels and working my butt off to afford those travels but I am finally at a spot where I feel like this blog is needed in my life again. It’s easy to lose track and get caught up in the “busy” of our lives but there comes a point where you fall so far behind on particular things and realize it’s time for a change. The new year is always a great time to reflect on the previous year, evaluate and then decide simply what worked and what didn’t. For me, I am an on the go type of person. Sometimes this so extreme that I forget to stop and smell the roses. Looking back, the last year was beyond amazing in so many ways.  For this upcoming year I am sticking to a couple new changes.

Learn to go with the flow

I don’t know about you, but for me this can be tough sometimes. Letting go of control and realizing everything will be okay if you just put faith and hard work into your situation.

Continue to travel more

Traveling for me is essential. So many people ask me all the time how I can do it. The truth is like anything, if you want it it will happen. Everything requires work, so if you put in the effort required than the benefit is rewarding. For me, traveling is my reward.

Cook More & Eat Healthy

Yes, thats right I said it….cook more! Believe it or not, I now know what it means to lack the time to put together home cooked meals. Sometimes it’s just easier to grab food togo, but this year I am going back to my favorite skill of cooking. It’s so much better when you know what you are putting in your body. Don’t you agree?

Start collaborating

Remember that old saying, “There is no I in team?” Well, this year I will make it my mission to make more contacts. I would love to feature stories about people’s success stories, struggles and simply how you live your best life.

Get In Better shape

Here we go with that time thing again. =) If you don’t plan ahead, time and life becomes an excuse.  I am vowing now to dedicate time to getting back in shape and living in my truth. So far this month and I right on track. How is your fitness routine this month of January?

I hope you all have had a great start to 2015. With the first month almost over, start thinking about February goals. It’s never to early to plan ahead!
